Kernville-Gleneden Beach-Lincoln Beach Water District Water Reservoir Project
The Saunders Company recently finished the Kernville-Gleneden Beach-Lincoln Water District Phase IIA Reservoir project. This project consisted of the construction and installation of a seismic resilient 1-million-gallon water reservoir and control building that replaced a much smaller reservoir which had exceeded its service life. This project has continued to grow TSC’s expertise in mechanical piping, instrumentation, formwork, rebar, and concrete.

Oxford Suites Hotel Project
The Saunders Company was selected by Oxford Suites Hotels to be the Excavation Subcontractor on the new construction for their newest location in Hillsboro. TSC has executed a substantial grading plan including retaining walls, parking lots and footings for the large hotel that will be built on site. Our team also performed improvements for the utilities onsite and tied in future systems to the existing. Unfortunately, due to COVID’s impact on the Hotel industry, there have been some delays to this project but TSC is excited to get back to work on it soon.

King’s Landing
King’s Landing
King’s Landing is a project TSC built for Del Boca Vista in Newberg directly South of North Valley Road. This project is directly adjacent to another Del Boca Project, Dutchman’s Ridge. The scope of this project included demolition of an existing home, lowering of a section of North Valley Road, multiple retaining walls and of course, pipelines for utilities. The crews had to be extra diligent to prevent any erosion from affecting the existing wet land between Dutchman’s Ridge and King’s Landing.

Riverfront Transmission Main Extension and Bore
Riverfront 42” Transmission Main Extension and 36” Transmission Bore
The Riverfront Transmission Main Extension and Bore is a public works waterline extension project for the City of Eugene, managed by EWEB, (the Eugene Water & Electric Board). The work on this project consisted mostly of varying types and sizes of transmission water main. Some sections were constructed with ductile iron piping, while others were built of double-welded steel piping. The later of the two, welded steel piping, is not all that common of a practice so it was a great learning experience for our pipe crew. Not many of our crew had experienced double welded steel so it is very fortunate we have one of the utmost experts in the region, Wayne Toney, on our team. Through a team effort, led by Wayne’s expertise, The Saunders Company has been able to excel through the project and looks forward to working with EWEB again.

Dutchman’s Ridge
Dutchman’s Ridge
Dutchman’s Ridge is a two-phase subdivision built by Del boca Vista totaling 40 lots. The Saunders Company started work on this project in early 2019 with land clearing and erosion control measures. Crews encountered decomposed rock on the southern portion of the project and made special provisions to stockpile the material for future use on other phases of work for the client. TSC teams completed the sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water infrastructure as well as all franchise utilities.
