This project involvescomplete demolition of the existing reservoir and associated structures and constructing a new 275,000-gallon bolted glass-fused-to-steel reservoir. The new reservoir includes a steel floor, aluminum dome roof, reinforced concrete foundation, mixing system, telemetry, and cathodic protection system. Site work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, hauling, drainage improvements, yard piping installation, valve vault, and placement of new aggregate around the site for access.
The completed reservoir will provide a seismically designed addition to the City’s storage capacity necessary to support future system needs with reduced maintenance and enhanced reliability.
